Members of the Sons of Norway are of all ages, backgrounds, occupations, and even nationalities. Although most members are of Norwegian or other Nordic heritage, others who enjoy the friendship, cultural activities, and programs of our Lodge are welcomed and encouraged to join.
The first dues are collected at the time of application; thereafter, annual dues notices are sent by the Sons of Norway Headquarters, Minneapolis. For the membership dues, members receive the Viking magazine, access to the Sons of Norway Cultural Skills Programs and the Sports and Recreation Programs, and other on-going cultural activities of Solglimt Lodge. |
