For many years Solglimt Lodge has had its Viking ship in the parade and a food booth at Sturgis Falls Days, and its popularity continues to increase. Our members participate in any or all of the following ways: providing cash gifts to help pay expenses, working at the food booth, and baking Nordic goodies. |
| July 28, 29, 2011 | Nordic Fest, Decorah | 2011 marks the 45th Nordic Fest. Nordic Fest is parades, dancers, and a multitude of incredible Norwegian art and crafts. Besides the exhibits, there are live demonstrations and items for purchase at the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum and at nearby schools. All that great Norwegian food is available along the parade route. |
